It was a dark and stormy night. A “monster hunter”, Professor Nightmare (haha, what a coincidence), went out looking for a very rare and difficult to find monster, known only as the Heart of Darkness.
The only thing known about it is that it is known to live in the swamp, so he searched the swamp of a minuscule undiscovered island, which he named Monster Island, as he found his first monster there. As he looked through the thick, undulating vegetation of the swamp, he found what he was looking for, but it was attached to a twisted, purple crocodile.
Fantastic word choices! You do a nice job bringing the reader into the story. I’m curious as to how the story continues. Will it continue?
